Account Deletion Policy – Vidya Mine Parent App

At Vidya Mine, we value your privacy and provide you with full control over your data. This Account Deletion Policy outlines the process through which parents can request deletion of their account and any associated data from the Vidya Mine Parent App.

1. What Does Account Deletion Mean?

When you request deletion of your account, we will:

  • Unlink your parent app from the student’s profile.
  • Delete any personally identifiable information (PII) associated with your parent account (e.g., name, mobile number, email if provided).
  • Erase session history, login records, and notification settings related to your account.
  • Ensure that no future access to your child’s academic data is possible via the parent app.
Note: Student records remain unaffected. To delete or update student data, the request must be submitted through the registered student account.

2. How to Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion in any of the following ways:

a. In-App Request (if feature available)
  1. Go to Settings → Account Actions → Delete Account
  2. Confirm the request and submit
  3. Our team will process it immediately.
b. Email Request

Send an email to: info@vidyamine.com
Use subject line: “Parent Account Deletion Request”

Include:

  • Your registered mobile number
  • Name of the student (optional, for verification)

3. Processing Time

  • We process all verified deletion requests immediately.
  • You’ll receive a confirmation once your data has been removed.

4. Important Notes

  • Uninstalling the app does not delete your data. You must follow the deletion request process.
  • If you reinstall the app and try to access the same student report, re-verification will be required.
  • If a parent re-registers after deletion, a new link must be created using the student’s phone number again.
